Privacy Community Groups such as WhatsApp: Please note that members' phone numbers may be visible to other members for seamless communication within the group. By participating in AIT's WhatsApp, Discord, or other group platforms, users consent to limited visibility of their contact information (e.g., phone number) by other members. AIT is not liable for how this information is used by group participants.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

By enrolling in a course, you are granting us permission to collect personal information about you (including “Sensitive Personal Information”). You give your express permission to share this data for purposes of managing your application, enrolment, academic progress, fees payment and other related activities of which will be done as per the Data Protection Act guidelines. Some other students enrolled in the same course sessions may see your email and name.
The assets created and opinions shared are made available for (company) use globally and for perpetuity.
By submitting a review/testimonial on any reviews platform on the world wide web about AIT, you agree that the content created and opinions shared are made available for use by The Institute of Trading (AIT) globally and for perpetuity. This includes the right to publish, distribute, and utilize the review in promotional materials, press releases, and other marketing channels.
Some Live Courses or FREE Webinars sessions where you participate may be recorded and portions and/or the full length of the recording may be used to improve and extend our range of products, to provide an as-close to real learning experience for students such as On Demand (recorded) Video Courses, or to be distributed to other participants or students who were unable to participate to the Live recorded sessions; we are doing our best to protect your full name and face, for example by calling participants on their first name only, but they still may pop-up in some recordings, conversations, including your voice, in case of a two-ways session was recorded. By participating to the Live or Free sessions you confirm that you agree with this.
You also have rights
Wish to know which personal data we have processed? Send an email to team[at]ait.amsterdam with a request for access to your data. You will receive a response to the request within four weeks.
Are your personal data incorrect, incomplete, irrelevant for the purposes for which they are processed or otherwise in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other legislation? Then you have the right to correction of your personal data. Correction means correction, addition, deletion or blocking of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, the right to have less data processed, the right to withdraw permission you have given and the right to data portability. We would also like to point out the possibility of submitting a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Safety
Personal data are personal and should remain personal. We find it just as important as you that your personal data do not go public or are processed unlawfully. We therefore apply all possible technical and organizational measures to safely handle your personal data. To secure your personal data we use security software such as a virus scanner and firewall and passwords for electronic systems.
Storage personal data
We do not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary for carrying out the purposes. If there are legal requirements applicable to the storage, the personal data are no longer stored than required by law.
